Aashay Tinaikar

Aashay Tinaikar has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Aashay is currently working as a Lead AI Engineer at AIRA MATRIX since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Vilua from January 2021 to April 2021. Before that, they were a Student Intern for Data Analytics - Vision AI at Munich Re (Group) from March 2020 to September 2020. Aashay also gained research experience as a Graduate Research Fellow - Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance at Harvard Medical School from April 2019 to December 2019. Aashay also worked as a Research Assistant at Technical University Munich from January 2019 to May 2019. Additionally, they have worked as a Student Research Assistant at Klinikum Rechts Der Isar from June 2018 to September 2018, and as a Working Student CFD Engineer at SimScale GmbH from April 2018 to September 2018. Aashay has also worked as a Project Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from March 2017 to June 2017, and as a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science from September 2015 to February 2017.

In addition to their research and engineering roles, Aashay also gained experience in sales engineering at Fujitec India Pvt Ltd from July 2015 to September 2015. Here, they played a crucial role in increasing sales in the Mumbai region and meeting sales targets.

Aashay Tinaikar holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Computing from the Technical University of Munich. Prior to that, they completed their Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, which they pursued from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Aashay has obtained several certifications, including a Machine Learning certificate from Coursera Verified Certificates, a Finance for Non Financial Professionals certificate from Coursera, and a Simulation and Analysis in Ansys certificate from CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. Aashay has also earned various edX Honor Code and Verified Certificates for courses such as Business and Its Environment, Classical Mechanics, Relativity and Astrophysics, and Introduction to Investments from IIM Bangalore.
