Abhishek Pathak has over 10 years of experience in software engineering. Abhishek began their career in 2011 as a Software Engineer at Goibibo, where they built the customer profiling, audience targeting and flight fare prediction services. Abhishek was later promoted to Team Lead, where they set up automated, (near) real time accounting and auditing across the organization, and scaled up the data platform to include cross-org sources (throughput ~ 4m events/ day). In 2015, they joined Flipkart as an SDE-2 and was part of the founding team of Flipkart Ads. Abhishek handled design + scaling of the product, and built the E2E Machine Learning pipeline for forecasting traffic, processing ~ 1TB/day. In 2017, they joined Loanzen as an SDE-3 and Skymind.ai - Deep learning for the JVM as a Senior Engineer/ Technical Lead. At Skymind, they were the owner of a cloud-friendly platform to initiate and manage distributed compute jobs (specifically batch training/inference of models using spark-submit). In 2020, they joined Airbase as a Senior Engineer.

Abhishek Pathak obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur between 2006 and 2010. Abhishek also holds a Naspers-Harvard Leadership Program certification from Harvard Business School.
