Ana-Laura Diaz

Ana-Laura Diaz has held a variety of roles in the legal and music industries. Ana-Laura began their career in 2007 as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of David J. Stern, P.A. where they managed and supervised up to 28 staff members and handled a large portfolio of files pertaining to the protection of secured creditors’ rights. In 2011, they took on the role of Supervising Attorney at Aldridge Connors, LLP, where they built a department of up to ten and developed and implemented operational procedures and legal and business strategies. In 2014, they became In-House Counsel at the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer - Retirement Systems Division, providing strategic advice to the Investment Management Division on legal, policy, and compliance matters related to investments made by the $88 billion state pension plan. In 2015, they took on roles as both Associate Counsel at Strata Solar, LLC and Violinist at Elegant Ensembles. As Associate Counsel, they provided in-house legal and risk management services to the leadership and team members of a utility-scale solar provider. As Violinist, they provided wedding and event music in quartets, trios, and duos. In 2016, they became General Transactional Counsel at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, providing sophisticated legal counsel and transactional support to organizational units at the university. In 2017, they took on the role of Contracts Attorney at Eton Solutions LP, providing transactional support to a wealth management technology firm. In 2021, they became Associate Legal Counsel at Lucidworks, providing transactional support and legal advice to a technology software company. Lastly, in 2022, they became Senior Commercial Counsel at Airbase, providing sophisticated legal counsel and transactional support to a start-up financial technology company. Additionally, Ana-Laura Diaz has held roles as Adjunct Professor at various accredited colleges and universities since 2010.

Ana-Laura Diaz has an extensive educational background.
