Anne Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Anne began their career as the Director of Volunteer Tutor Program at East Palo Alto Tennis and Tutoring, managing the volunteer tutor program. Anne then served as the Senior Manager of Development and Communications at BUILD, where they successfully raised $1.8 million in funds.
Following that, they worked as the Managing Partner at Dualism Consulting, before co-founding and serving as the Advisory Board Chair of GLOW Foundation. GLOW provided financial literacy curriculum and resources to support low-income students.
Anne then joined Taproot Foundation as a Program Manager, overseeing pro bono projects and developing customized volunteer programs for various clients. Anne later became a Consultant in Advisory Services at Taproot, working with Fortune 500 companies and government organizations to implement pro bono service projects.
Anne served as the Director of UX Research at Causes, a Facebook app startup, where they created and managed the UX research team and also oversaw the data science and community teams.
Anne then joined The Hunt, a start-up later acquired by Pinterest, as a User Experience Researcher, leading the community team and serving as a Product Manager for Trust and Safety initiatives.
Currently, they are the Head of Product Inclusion at Airbnb, where they founded the Anti-Discrimination & Equity organization. In this role, they support teams in addressing disparities within policies and products and influences the product roadmap to ensure inclusivity. Additionally, they previously held the role of Product Manager, Anti-Discrimination at Airbnb, where they led the development and implementation of Project Lighthouse, a tool to measure and address racial inequities within the platform.
