Chiraag Kala

Chiraag Kala is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in experimentation methodologies, pricing models, and economic consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist - Tech Lead at Airbnb since January 2020, Chiraag focuses on reducing bias in Host-side experiments and has developed innovative pricing recommendation models. Prior to Airbnb, Chiraag was the Tech Lead for Data Science at HotelQuickly, where responsibilities included enhancing booking conversions, managing a data warehouse, and leading a team. Chiraag's career also includes a role as an Economic Consulting Associate at KPMG US, assisting clients with economic modeling for M&A transactions, and a brief stint as a Strategy Consultant at Interpublic Group. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
