Melissa C. Thomas-Hunt

Melissa Thomas-Hunt transitioned from a leadership position in Diversity and Belonging to an Advisory role in 2021.

An expert on building inclusive, global teams, Melissa joined Airbnb from Vanderbilt University, where she served as Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence. Her publications have appeared in Research on Organizational Behavior, Organization Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and the Journal of Applied Psychology.

Melissa received her masters and doctoral degrees from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and her undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University.
