Stephanie Smith is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy and cleantech sectors, currently serving as Senior Advisor and Board Member at the American Clean Power Association since January 2024. With a robust background as Chief Operating Officer at Eolian and Greencastle LLC, as well as experience in leadership roles at Sol Systems, MAP Energy, LLC, and Smith Strategic—an independent consultancy focused on transaction strategy and executive coaching—Stephanie has demonstrated expertise in corporate operations and investment strategies. Prior legal experience includes significant roles at Cooley LLP, Alston & Bird LLP, and Baker Botts LLP, where representation focused on project development and finance. Stephanie holds a Juris Doctor degree from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning from Texas Tech University.
