Sergio Pelino

Sergio Pelino has extensive experience in localization and program management, currently serving as Director of Localization Operations and Program Management at Airbnb since May 2018, where Sergio launched the first Localization QA program. Previously, Sergio held leadership positions at PayPal, focusing on global content and technology, and at Google, where Sergio managed localization teams that significantly improved processes and quality. With a decade-long tenure at various tech companies including Oracle and Microsoft, Sergio's expertise spans localization technology, process excellence, and team management. Sergio holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Sapienza Università di Roma.
