Tomi Makanjuola

Tomi Makanjuola is an experienced culinary entrepreneur and language professional with a diverse background in the food industry and translation services. As the founder of The Vegan Nigerian since February 2013, Tomi has developed a lifestyle blog and operated a pop-up restaurant while actively participating in markets and festivals. Since December 2016, Tomi has served as an Experience Host for Airbnb, providing online West African cooking classes to individuals and corporate clients. Previous roles include Membership Administrator at The Society of Authors, Private Chef at La Belle Assiette, Chef positions at The Detox Kitchen Limited and La Suite West, and Translator for Connected Language Services. Tomi's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from the University of Oxford, along with earlier studies at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls and Dowen College.
