Yongen Yu

Yongen Yu is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience in cloud computing, software architecture, and data analysis. Currently serving as a Software Engineer in Monetization at Airbnb, Yongen has successfully migrated monolithic applications to Kubernetes-based microservices and established monitoring and CI/CD infrastructure. Previous roles include Technical Lead at VMware, where leadership involved automating network awareness, and Senior Software Engineer at A10 Networks, focusing on RESTful APIs and cloud infrastructure development. Yongen's earlier experience at Ericsson as an engineering intern included redesign of configuration models, while software engineering expertise was further developed at IBM Corporation. Yongen holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Engineering from reputable institutions, with research interests spanning parallel and distributed computing, big data, and machine learning.
