Elio Pajares

Elio Pajares has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Elio began their career at AMADE, Universitat de Girona as a Scholar in the research group, focusing on composite materials and Finite Elements Method calculations. Elio worked on R&D projects in the aeronautics area, collaborating with companies like Airbus Madrid and INTA.

In 2007, Elio joined Universitat de Girona as an Associate Teacher, where they worked until 2012.

In 2008, Elio transitioned to Airborne Composites S.L. as a Project Manager, responsible for overseeing projects until 2011. Elio then took on the role of Operations Manager from 2012 to 2016, followed by the position of Managing Director from 2016 to 2018. In this role, they managed various aspects of the subsidiary, including engineering, production, sales, supply chain, quality, H&S, and HHRR. Elio was accountable for the expansion of the facility, overall financial performance, budget creation and control, internal processes, and the implementation of lean techniques for continuous improvement.

Elio later joined Airborne in 2018, where they initially served as a Senior Project Manager until January 2020. Elio then became the Business Development Manager, responsible for driving business growth and development.

Elio Pajares has a diverse education history. In 1998, they started their academic journey at Universitat de Girona, where they pursued a degree in Ingeniero Técnico Industrial, specializing in Mechanical Engineering. Elio completed this program in 2004.

Following their undergraduate studies, Elio Pajares continued their education at the same university. From 2007 to 2008, they attended Universitat de Girona to earn a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanics of Materials and Structures.

In 2014, Elio Pajares enrolled in Esade, where they undertook an Executive Master on Business Administration (EMBA). This program, focused on Business Administration, Management and Operations, was completed in 2015.

Apart from their formal education, Elio Pajares has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. In 2018, they obtained the certification of Certified Lean Management from Six Sigma Academy Amsterdam, which is ASQ Aligned and BKO Accredited. In 2019, they completed the Karrass Effective Negotiating program offered by KARRASS™ Effective Negotiating.
