Kepton McKenzie

Kepton McKenzie has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Kepton is currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit and Financial Transformation at AirBoss of America since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Ajax Textile Corporation as the Director of Finance and Administration from January 2017 to October 2020. Kepton also held the position of Controller at Royal Building Products, a Westlake Company from October 2014 to January 2017.

Before joining Ajax Textile Corporation, Kepton McKenzie worked as the Director of Finance and Administration at Steelcon Fabrication Inc. from April 2013 to October 2014. Kepton also served as the Accounting Manager at Magna Exteriors and Interiors, Co-ex-tec Industries Inc. from August 2005 to April 2013.

As for their earlier experiences, Kepton McKenzie worked as a SOX Consultant at Robert Half Management Resources from October 2004 to August 2005. Kepton also held various positions at Jamaica Public Service Company Ltd from July 1987 to June 2004, including Consultant/Manager - Internal Controls, Budget Controller, Senior Manager - Management Accounting Dept, Head - Financial Operations, and Manager - General Accounting Dept.

Additionally, they served as the Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors at JPS & PARTNERS CO-OP CREDIT UNION from 1990 to 2004, and as a Member of the Board of Trustees, Representing Management Group at JPS Employees' Superannuation Fund from 1990 to 2001.

Kepton McKenzie completed a Diploma in Business Teacher Education at the University of Technology, Jamaica from 1979 to 1982. Kepton then pursued a BSc in Accounting and Business/Management at The University of the West Indies, Mona from 1983 to 1987. Later, they earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Barry University, spanning 1992 to 1994. In addition to their degrees, Kepton McKenzie also holds various certifications such as Condominium Director Training, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
