Alexander Kottmann

Alexander Kottmann is an experienced HR professional currently serving as HR Head of Plant / HRBL Cabin & Cargo at Airbus since January 2019. Prior roles at Airbus Defence and Space included HRBP for Airframe Customer Services and HR Engineering Planning & Reporting, where responsibilities encompassed managing human capital planning and reporting on key performance indicators. Kottmann also held positions as Executive Assistant to the Head of HR Space Systems and Coordinator for Special Projects within the Corporate Secretary's Office, overseeing communication with the CEO and administrative tasks for the Executive Committee. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant in the Cabinet of the President at the European Parliament and internships related to governmental support. Kottmann holds a Master of Science in Economics & Politics from The University of Freiburg, a Bachelor of Arts in European Economic Studies from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, and has participated in a Study Abroad Programme at the University of Technology Sydney focusing on Economics and Business Studies.
