Harald Schmitz

Harald Schmitz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and energy sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Restructuring at Airbus since September 2024, Harald leads projects focused on restructuring and efficiency for Premium AEROTEC's transformation. Prior to this role, Harald spent over 13 years at Premium AEROTEC, holding multiple leadership positions including Head of Parts Production and Head of Site Planning and Services. Previous experience includes a tenure at ConocoPhillips as Head of Routine Maintenance. Harald's academic qualifications include an Ausbilder degree in elektrotechnische und kaufmännische Berufe from Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven, a Bachelor of Business Administration and Operation from CCI Oldenburg, and a qualification as an Industrieelektroniker in Elektrotechnik/Techniker.
