Paul Smith is a highly experienced aerospace professional with a robust background in flight operations, testing, and management. Currently serving as the Director of Flight Test and Operations at Airbus, Paul leads efforts in developing scalable autonomy systems for next-generation aircraft. Previous roles include management positions at Google, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing corporate flight operations and regulatory compliance, as well as significant contributions to the development of innovative airborne technologies. With flight experience as a First Officer and Test Pilot across various prestigious organizations, including UPS, NASA, and the United States Air Force, Paul possesses extensive knowledge in both manned and unmanned aerospace systems.
