Michel Tricot

Michel Tricot is the co-founder and CEO of Airbyte. Prior to Airbyte, Michel was a founding member and Director of Engineering at rideOS from November 2017 to July 2019. At rideOS, Michel led a team of 10 engineers to develop and release the rideOS flagship API, an end-to-end platform that provides all of the underlying technology needed to run a ridehail network. Michel was also responsible for leading the rideOS 99.9% SLA initiative for all of the company's public APIs used by real-world autonomous vehicles, as well as leading the entire cloud architecture and approaches for rideOS. Under Michel's direction, the team was able to build a high performance distributed vehicle routing engine that was designed to be basemap agnostic in order to support partner collected HD/SD maps and public maps (OpenStreetMap, HERE). Michel has 2 pending patents on constraint based routing with data overlays.

Michel Tricot has a Master of Science in Computer Science from EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique.
