Will Colban is an accomplished engineering professional with significant experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Head of Engineering at Aircapture since March 2025, Colban previously held the position of General Manager of US Operations at Amber Kinetics from June 2016 to March 2025, overseeing all operational aspects and providing strategic input to executive leadership. Colban's engineering career includes transitioning departments from prototype to production phases and enhancing operational efficiencies, with achievements in flywheel technology certification in Australia. Prior roles include Senior Development Engineer at LightSail Energy, Test Engineer at Alstom Power, and research as a Post-Doc at Sandia National Laboratories. AirCapture produces beverage grade liquid CO2 with low oxygen content at volumes and production. They provide clean CO2 to replace the emissions-heavy raw material required to manufacture synthetic fuels such as aircraft fuel, gasoline, and diesel.
