James Taylor

James is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in the derivatives, banking, and blockchain industries. He held various leadership roles while at Société Générale in London, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In these positions, he established and directed large regional and global Operations teams specializing in high volume Financial and Commodity Futures & Options flows. Notably, James transformed the global treatment of the company's brokerage, commission, fee, interest and static data processing. He was eventually appointed the CEO of SG Securities, a prominent clearing member of the Singapore Exchange (SGX). During his tenure, he successfully navigated the complex regulatory landscape and expanded the company's market share. More recently, James served as the CEO of the Singapore entity of Hex Trust, a digital custodian licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
