Gustavo Alvarez Moreno

Gustavo Alvarez Moreno has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gustavo currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Aire Libre Running, where they are responsible for overseeing operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Business Development at the same company, where they focused on creating transformative experiences in natural destinations. Additionally, Gustavo has worked as an Angel Investor at Around, the largest network of flexible workspaces in Mexico. Gustavo also owned a company called Forte and served as a Mentor at Collective Academy. In their earlier career, Gustavo held multiple positions at LECO_mx, including Co-founder & CEO and Co-founder & COO. Gustavo has also worked as the Chief Community Officer at Multiplica Talent and Head of WeWork Labs Mexico at WeWork, where they supported and managed early-stage startups. Furthermore, they have held positions at Techstars, where they served as the Director of Business Development for Latin America and VP of Expansion, Startup Programs. Prior to their time at Techstars, Gustavo worked at UP Global and Startup Weekend, where they held roles such as Regional Director for Latin America and Global Facilitator & Organizer. Throughout their career, Gustavo has achieved notable milestones, including expanding organizational communities, building high-value networks, and impacting thousands of entrepreneurs.

Gustavo Alvarez Moreno completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México from 2001 to 2007. Gustavo then enrolled in the altMBA program in 2019, and in 2020, they pursued a fellowship from Latitud in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, earning the LF1 Fellow designation.
