Edmundo Rangel

Edmundo Rangel has extensive work experience in the field of technology and business solutions. Edmundo began their career in 1998 at Comunicaciones Nextel de México, where they played a key role in launching billing and provisioning systems for an integrated digital network. Edmundo also developed reporting tools and implemented BSS updates to improve customer services.

In 2000, Rangel joined NII Holdings, Inc. as an IT Analyst Programmer. During their time there, they developed and implemented various enhancements, including activations and churn reports, CRM system upgrades, and international roaming file exchange processes. Edmundo also served as a technical advisor for a billing and provisioning system migration project.

Rangel then progressed to the role of IT Business Solutions Manager, where they managed billing and provisioning impacts during the implementation of new products and services. Edmundo also played a vital role in defining OSS business strategy and overseeing the implementation of integrated billing and provisioning systems across all NII affiliates.

In 2005, Rangel was promoted to IT Director, Business Solutions at NII Holdings, Inc. Edmundo also managed the procurement and budget process for projects, including overseeing a major IT systems overhaul in the Nextel Chile affiliate.

Rangel joined Ericsson in 2014 as an RNAM Senior Solutions Architect III. In this role, they provided technical services and consultancy support for overhauling the BSS stack for T-Mobile USA. Edmundo also led requirements gathering and analysis, as well as the integration of various BSS products and third-party solutions.

At Aireon LLC, Rangel held the position of Senior Business Systems Manager, responsible for system operations in billing, ERP/HR, and corporate reporting. Edmundo managed onsite and offsite/offshore teams and supported senior leadership in delivering new products and services through data analysis and business intelligence technologies.

In their most recent role as Senior Manager, Product Engineering at Aireon LLC, Rangel oversaw the development and testing team in creating business systems and commercial data products. Edmundo utilized cloud technologies, architectures, and best practices to ensure optimal product SDLC and DevOps in an agile environment.
