Nimesh Desai

Nimesh Desai has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 as a Technical Sales Engineer at Chromalox. During their time at Chromalox, they worked on electrical heat exchanger designs for major projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals, and Petrochemicals industries.

In 2015, Nimesh joined Whitefox as a Technical Sales representative and later transitioned to the role of Business Development Manager. In their role as Intellectual Property (IP) Manager in the Process Engineering Division, they implemented structured filing processes for IP documents, ranked and assessed new ideas/inventions, and collaborated with the Process Engineering team. Nimesh utilized PatSnap's IP intelligence database to review competitor IP portfolios and advised on strategy. Nimesh also chaired IP Committee meetings and reviewed patent specifications and claim language to maximize protection.

At Whitefox, Nimesh also served as a Business Development professional, where they sourced and qualified new business opportunities, developed relationships with clients, implemented a sales process, and managed key accounts. Nimesh diligently maintained the CRM tool, tracked sales performance, generated management reports, and supported the VP of Business Development in North America.

In 2016, Nimesh briefly worked as a Plant Engineer at Whitefox, where they supported a Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) R&D project, collaborating with the laboratory team to operate testing equipment and ensure project success.

Currently, Nimesh is expected to join Airex Technologies as a Business Development Manager in 2023.

Nimesh Desai began their education journey at St Mary's Roman Catholic High School from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained their GCSEs. Nimesh then attended Harris Academy Crystal Palace from 2008 to 2010 to pursue their A Levels. Lastly, they attended the University of Surrey from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Chemical Engineering.
