Olle Gelin

Olle Gelin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Olle is currently the CEO and Co-founder of AirForestry since March 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at Olands Häradsallmänning starting from April 2019.

From 2013 to 2021, Olle worked at Skogforsk where they held various roles. Olle was a Research Engineer from August 2013 to July 2021. In addition, they were the Project Manager for the UDI steps 1 and 2 AUTO2 project, which aimed to increase automation in forestry. Olle also led the ETTpush project, which focused on building and evaluating a timber truck for efficient timber transport. Moreover, Olle managed a project on developing an active damped pendulum arm forestry machine.

Olle also worked at Svenska institutet för standarder, SIS from January 2016 to December 2020. During their time there, they served as a Technical Expert for TK 231 Forestry machines and TK416 Lubricants and hydraulic fluids.

Earlier in their career, Olle worked at Scania Group from 2009 to 2013 as a System Developer. Olle was responsible for system development, safety, and diagnosis of the Rechargeable Energy Storage System and the Battery Management Unit.

Prior to that, Olle worked at Sandvik Coromant from 2005 to 2008. Olle initially worked as a Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator and later undertook a summer internship for technologists.

Olle Gelin began their professional journey as a Rural Postman at Posten AB from May 2001 to August 2004.

Olle Gelin's education history is as follows:

From 2004 to 2009, Olle Gelin attended Linköping University and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Prior to that, from 1999 to 2002, Olle Gelin attended Bruksgymnasiet and studied Computer Science. The degree obtained during this period is not specified.

In addition to their educational background, Olle Gelin has obtained several certifications. In 2009, they completed a certification in Electrical Safety Hybrid System SS-EN 50110-1 from Eldbranschens utveckling och utbildningscenter. Olle also obtained a certification in Welding and Heat Work, including Protective Conditions and Permit Manager from Svenska bandskyddsföreningen in the same year.

Furthermore, Olle Gelin holds a driving license for cars, trucks, and buses (B, C, D) obtained in 2000 from Transportstyrelsen.
