Alex Barreto

Alex Barreto is the Legal Director at Airfox. Alex has also worked as a visiting professor at Future Law, where they taught regulatory compliance matters associated with payment network systems in Brazil. From July 2018 to December 2020, Barreto was a lecturer at Yvent Conteúdo e Relacionamento B2B, where they taught legal management. From February 2016 to July 2019, Barreto worked as the Legal & Institutional Affairs Director at PINbank Brasil. Some of Barreto's other achievements include leading the regulatory adequacy projects with the centralized settlement system and maintenance of bank domicile, coordinating the operation that gave rise to the first investment fund in Brazil (FIDC) dedicated exclusively to the purchase and sale of receivables from payment arrangement transactions, and coordinating the defense strategy of an administrative process initiated by the Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Brazil.
