Behrouz Babakhani

Behrouz Babakhani has a strong background in RF engineering and antenna design. Behrouz started their career as an Antenna & Microwave Lab research assistant at San Diego State University in 2012, where they focused on designing and testing various types of antennas. In 2016, they joined AVX Antenna Inc. as an RF Engineer, where they played a crucial role in designing and developing antennas for consumer electronics and wireless radios. Behrouz worked on multiple antenna projects from concept phase to prototyping and system-level integration. In 2019, Behrouz joined INNOPHASE as a Senior RF Engineer, and in 2020, they moved to Airgain, Inc. as a Sr. Antenna Design Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Scientist at Airgain, Inc., where they continue to contribute their expertise in antenna design.

Behrouz Babakhani earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University between 2012 and 2016. Prior to this, they obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Microwave and Optical Communication from Sharif University of Technology from 2009 to 2011.
