Steve Hope

Steve Hope is currently the VP of Marketing & Business Development at Airgas. Steve has previous experience working with companies such as Praxair and Linde Americas. At Praxair, they were responsible for North American market development, strategy, new applications development and revenue growth for a diverse group of industrial market segments. At Linde Americas, Steve held various positions such as VP Global Market Sector and Director of Pricing Strategy. In their role as the VP Global Market Sector, they shared P&L responsibility for a large industrial customer base and directed a 14 person global team. As the Director of Pricing Strategy, they were responsible for functional pricing excellence across the merchant gases portfolio in 6 global business units. Lastly, as a Sales Executive, they were responsible for developing and implementing “sustain and growth” strategies at large merchant/on-site gas customers.

Steve Hope has a MBA in Marketing/Finance from St. Bonaventure University and a Bach. Engineering in Materials from McMaster University.

Steve Hope reports to Marcelo Fioranelli, CEO. They work with Jeff Cass - President, Airgas Great Lakes, Mike Gentile - VP, Product Management & Sourcing, and Chris Herbert - VP, Safety & Compliance.
