Riyaad Seecharan (He / Him)

Riyaad Seecharan is an AIRIE Board Member since 2021, he currently serves as the organization’s Interim Executive Director. An avid outdoorsman and environmentalist who has climbed Mt. Everest, Riyaad is also a serial entrepreneur, researcher, and technologist and was a founding member of Tesser Health, a healthcare technology firm focused on the idea that being healthy should be simple. In his capacity as a consultant, Riyaad has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Wal-Mart, American Express, and TradeStation and has consulted with organizations such as Dell, IBM and NASA. Seecharan brings to AIRIE a strong background in change and systems management, a commitment to diversity in creating spaces of belonging for the artists we serve at the residency and a passion for the preservation of the unique biodiversity of the Everglades.
