Marie Soubessens has a wealth of experience in international mobility. Marie began their career in 2003 as an Executive Assistant to the Attache for Higher Education at the French Embassy in Beijing, China. In 2005, they moved to Sodexo as an Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of Asia, where they provided extensive language and translation services and organized meetings, international travel and lodging arrangements.

In 2007, Marie joined Links Moving as an International Move Consultant, where they sold and managed international move services and managed a team of two coordinators. Marie then moved to Bristol Global Mobility in 2013 as an International Mobility Consultant, where they managed a caseload of transferees relocating to EMEA, gave presentations to clients and prospective clients, and collaborated with clients on cost projection reports.

In 2015, Marie became an International Mobility Team Leader at BGRS, providing dedicated support to relocating expatriates within EMEA and assisting expatriates with immigration, home finding, household goods, education, language and cultural training and financial expense reimbursement. Marie also worked with the Client’s HR team to ensure their policies were adhered to and effectively implemented.

In 2020, Marie joined Herbert Smith Freehills as a Senior HR Advisor for International Mobility, where they reported to the International Mobility Manager and was responsible for the oversight and coordination of the mobility lifecycle for global employees and for advising the business on everything mobility and compliance related. Marie coordinated secondment approval processes and policy exemptions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and managed employees’ international secondments.

Most recently, Marie joined AIRINC in 2021 as a Client Engagement Manager.

Marie Soubessens obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages from Universit\u00e9 de lettres d'Aix en Provence et Universit\u00e9 Michel de Montaigne (Bordeaux 3) between 1997 and 2001. Marie then studied Mandarin Chinese at Renmin University of China from 2002 to 2003. In February 2020, they obtained a certification in Creating Great First Impressions from LinkedIn.
