Mark Cyffka

Mark Cyffka is a co-founder and COO of AirMyne, where efforts focus on scaling direct air capture technology. Previously, Mark participated in the Winter 2022 Y Combinator cohort and served as a senior advisor at Business Finland, providing strategic guidance to Finnish industrial and deeptech firms entering the U.S. market. Mark's experience at BASF included roles as a product manager and senior product development specialist, where contributions involved launching a new R&D facility and co-inventing products for silicon carbide wafer processing. Earlier in the career at Honeywell, Mark worked as an R&D engineer, developing coatings and thin films for various applications, while being trained in multiple process improvement methodologies. Mark holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Chemistry from Harvey Mudd College.
