Elisangela Bressan

Elisangela Bressan, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in pharmacology and neurobiology. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Oligonucleotide Safety at AIRNA Bio, Elisangela focuses on preclinical safety assessments and assay development for therapeutic antisense oligonucleotides. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Researcher positions at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and Instituto Butantan, where Elisangela led projects investigating neurodegenerative diseases, neurophysiology, and neuropharmacology. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master's degree in Pharmacology from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, complemented by a Bachelor of Pharmacy.
