Tobias Fridén

Tobias Fridén has a diverse range of work experience. In 2013, they worked as a Junior Trainee at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. The following year, they returned to the company for a summer job in the Integration & Verification department, focusing on hardware testing and modification. In 2016, Tobias took on the role of Project Leader at LINK-dagarna. Simultaneously, they started working as a Teaching and Lab Assistant at Linköping University, where they supported students in mathematics and control theory. In 2017, Tobias became a Web Application Developer at Ericsson, where they primarily worked with AngularJS and NodeJS. Tobias also developed an application in partnership with the Swedish Sea Rescue Society. Alongside this position, they served as a Student Ambassador, responsible for promoting the Ericsson brand to engineering students. Tobias later transitioned to a Machine Learning Intern role within Ericsson. In 2018, they co-founded Airpelago, where they currently serve as the Co-Founder and CTO.

Tobias Fridén has a strong educational background in the field of applied physics and electrical engineering. Tobias graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Control and Information systems from Linköping University in the years 2014-2020. In 2017, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at City University of Hong Kong, where they earned a Master of Science in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering, again specializing in Control and Information systems. Prior to their university studies, Tobias completed their Swedish Gymnasium at Polhemsgymnasiet from 2010 to 2013, majoring in science.
