Carol Cyrus Thiel has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Carol'smost recent position is Director of Finance at Airport Dimensions, a role they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at American Airlines for many years in various roles, including Director, IT Division Controller, Director, Marketing Division Controller, and Director, Marketing Solutions. Carol also served as the Director, AA.com & Contact Center Division Controller and Manager, Marketing & Planning Controller during their time at American Airlines. Before joining American Airlines, they worked as an Assistant Corporate Controller at Equitrac, a Financial Analyst at Lexmark, and an Auditor at Ernst & Young. Overall, Carol has extensive experience in finance and controllership roles in the aviation industry.
Carol Cyrus Thiel has an MBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington. Carol also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant, having obtained this certification from the Kentucky Board of Accountancy in December 1994.
