Farad Ali

Farad Ali is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors, particularly in economic development and community empowerment. Currently serving as the Executive Chairman and CEO of Asociar since March 2020, Farad drives strategies for innovative IT solutions, while also co-founding ALI | HEIJMEN in July 2023 to foster community connections for economic equity. Farad holds multiple board positions, including on the Executive Committees of the Latino Community Credit Union, Research Triangle Foundation, and Research Triangle Regional Partnership, contributing to initiatives that promote financial independence and regional development. Previous leadership roles include Vice President of the National Minority Supplier Development Council and President of the National Institute of Minority Economic Development, showcasing a strong commitment to enhancing opportunities for diverse populations. Farad’s educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MBA from Campbell University, and executive education from Dartmouth College and Northwestern University.
