Christopher Wichman is an experienced professional in transportation planning and solutions, currently serving as the Director of Transportation Solutions at AirSage since September 2022, focusing on customized mobility data solutions for various clients. Prior positions include Transportation Solutions Advisor at the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority and Principal Planner, where responsibilities encompassed freight planning and managing subregional studies. Wichman has also held roles such as Senior Transportation Planner at the Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment and PlanRVA, contributing to state planning strategies, multimodal studies, and performance-based planning. Wichman began a career in transportation planning with internships and research positions, earning a Master’s in Urban Planning with a focus on Transportation and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from the University of Kansas.
