Louie Ilustrisimo has had a varied career in the aviation industry. In 2021, they began working for Airspace Link, Inc. as the Director of Customer Success, where they are responsible for building the digital infrastructure to safely integrate drones into the National Airspace System. In 2020, they worked for Amazon as a Program Manager, Air Carrier Management, where they enabled the successful launch and operations ramp-up of Sun Country Airlines and formalized the air carrier ground handling training process for Amazon Air's North America network. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at John Wayne Airport as a Sr. Airport Access and Noise Specialist, where they managed the airport’s passenger capacity and enforced air carrier compliance with the County’s Phase 2 Commercial Airline Access Plan. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Raytheon as a Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) and Computer Operator, where they contributed to the success of the overall training program and headed development and implementation of the Van Nuys Airport (VNY) terminal air traffic simulation. In 2012, they completed an internship with the Federal Aviation Administration, Traffic Management Unit, where they performed and completed technical analyses relating to regional airspace matters and streamlined the reporting of metrics and statistical data to the surrounding regional air traffic control facilities.

Louie Ilustrisimo obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2018, with a field of study in Aviation. Louie also earned a Bachelor of Science - BS from Arizona State University in 2012, with a field of study in Air Traffic Management.
