Sergiu Vrabie has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the manufacturing and quality assurance industries. Sergiu currently serves as the VP of QA and RA at AirStrip, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of QA and RA at CTL Medical from 2018 to 2021. Sergiu also served as the VP of Manufacturing Operations at KPS Global LLC in 2017 and as the Manufacturing Manager at Mentor Worldwide, LLC from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they were the Director of Operations at FirstCo Inc. from 2013 to 2016. Sergiu Vrabie's earlier experience includes roles such as Manufacturing Director at Johnson Matthey Plc in 2011, Engineering Manager at Stanley Black and Decker Inc. from 2007 to 2011, and Senior Leader of Manufacturing Engineers at Medtronic Plc from 2000 to 2007. Sergiu began their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Sanden International USA Inc in 1999. Sergiu Vrabie holds certifications as an ASQ CQA and CSSGB.
Sergiu Vrabie obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Romania Jobs, where they studied from 1983 to 1989. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In December 2006, they earned a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ. More recently, in February 2021, they obtained a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters. Furthermore, in December 2018, they became a member of the Regulatory Affairs Certification Program (RAPS).
