Vaishnavi B

Vaishnavi B. has been working in the software engineering industry for over 15 years. From 2016 to present, they have been a Principal Software Engineer and a Frontend Software Engineer at AirTank, a full-service digital agency. In this role, they have created high-performance web applications using React/JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5, and other cutting-edge front-end technologies. Vaishnavi has also specialized in WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify and designed widgets/apps for creating experiences that meet and exceed client requirements and satisfaction.

Prior to AirTank, Vaishnavi B. was a Student Web Developer at Arizona State University from 2007 to 2016. In this role, they had a 100% success rate in troubleshooting and resolving web application from the ASU intranet website. Vaishnavi also provided continued maintenance and development of bug fixes and patch sets for existing web applications.

From 2007 to 2016, Vaishnavi B. was also a Graduate Student Researcher at the New Media Innovations Lab, Arizona State University. In this role, they led projects for functional enhancements of Web-based applications using PHP, UI frameworks, and Web technologies. Vaishnavi also customized core modules on Drupal content management system and extended its functionality based on website requirements.

From 2005 to 2007, Vaishnavi B. was an Application Development Team Lead at Ecsoftware. In this role, they delivered custom solutions with extensive logical and creative thinking using XML, XSLT, Scripting, Asp, and Asp. Net for backend programming and HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX in the frontend. Vaishnavi also recruited, motivated, and mentored employees in using templates and modules from the 'EC Web' content management system, as a part of the hiring and training committee.

Vaishnavi B. began their educational journey in 2001 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from PSG College of Technology. Vaishnavi then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Material Science and Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, which they completed in 2008. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Shaping Up with Angular JS from Code School. Vaishnavi is currently working towards a Full Stack Web Development degree in Computer Software Engineering from Free Code Camp.
