Emeka Oparah

Emeka Oparah has over two decades of work experience in corporate communications, public relations, and CSR. Emeka currently serves as the Vice President of Corporate Communications & CSR at Airtel Africa since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director and Vice President of Corporate Communications & CSR at Airtel Nigeria, where they managed the corporate reputation and was responsible for PR, Internal Communications, CSR, and Crisis Management. Emeka has also held various roles at Zain Nigeria, Celtel Nigeria Limited, Vmobile, Econet Wireless (now Zain), and Cadbury Nigeria Plc, where they gained extensive experience in media relations, PR, and corporate affairs.

Emeka Oparah completed a PG Diploma in International Public Relations from The Management School, London in 2001. Emeka also holds a B.A. Second Class Upper degree in Mass Communications from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, which they obtained from 1986 to 1990.
