Tonny Watuka

Tonny Watuka, CPA, currently serves as the Deputy General Manager of Strategy & Project Management at Airtel Africa's Group CEO's Office since April 2020, focusing on business management, operational efficiency, and stakeholder management across 14 African countries. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant in Strategy & Transactions at EY from March 2017 to March 2020, where Tonny provided deal advisory and corporate restructuring services. In a brief secondment at Airtel Africa in late 2018, Tonny led the IPO readiness efforts, conducting due diligence for potential listings on the London Stock Exchange. Earlier career experience includes serving as an Analyst at Mazars, where Tonny supported clients with accounting and reporting needs. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Strategic Marketing from Imperial College London and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from Strathmore University.
