Andrew Akampurira

Andrew Akampurira is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in acquisition and marketing within the telecommunications and banking sectors. Currently serving as an Acquisition Lead at Airtel Uganda since December 2021, Andrew drives acquisition projects and manages a sales team to enhance the company's market share. Previously, as a Graduate Management Trainee in Marketing at Airtel Uganda, Andrew conducted market research and analysis to inform marketing strategies. Prior experience includes a role as a Direct Sales Representative for Ecosystem Loans at Equity Bank Limited, where Andrew successfully generated leads and increased the loan portfolio. Additionally, an internship at Kawacom Uganda Limited provided valuable experience in inventory management. Andrew holds a degree in Economics and Statistics from Kyambogo University.
