Derrick Kimera

Derrick Kimera is a Social Media Executive at Airtel Uganda since May 2023, with extensive experience in customer service and social media management. Previously at Ison BPO (Airtel Uganda) from February 2014, Derrick served as a Back Office Executive, resolving escalated customer queries, and as a Social Media Executive, managing Airtel's social platforms and compiling reports. Derrick began working at Ison BPO in February 2013 as an Apogee/High Value Customer Care Representative, specializing in elite customer service and product promotion. Prior experience includes a role as a Logistics Clerk at IBERO (U) LTD, where responsibilities included material purchases and documentation. Derrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from Makerere University and completed a social media training course at BLU FLAMINGO. Educational background also includes the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from Gombe Secondary School.
