Moses Serugo

Moses Serugo has a diverse work experience in the telecom industry. Moses currently holds the role of Head of Digital Transformation and IT Projects at Airtel Uganda. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Agile Digital Transformation Manager at Agile Digital IT Project Managers (ADI-PMs).

From 2013 to 2020, Moses worked at MTN South and East Africa (SEA) in various roles. Moses was the Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO), where they implemented program management improvements leading to successful product launches and increased revenue. Moses was also a Project Manager, responsible for overseeing projects and training new managers.

Before joining MTN SEA, Moses worked at Orange as a Value Added Services and Intelligent Network Engineer. Moses started their career at MTN UG as an Operations and Maintenance Supervisor. Prior to that, they worked at Computer Point Ltd as a Support Engineer.

Moses Serugo's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of East London, which they pursued from 2023 to 2024. During this time, their focus areas were AI and Machine Vision, Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Computing from Kyambogo University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. In 2002, Moses attended Makerere University, although the specific degree or field of study is not mentioned.

In addition to their formal education, Moses has obtained various certifications. In 2023, they acquired certifications in Agile Development Practices, Customer Service Leadership, Introduction to Digital Twins, and IoT Foundations: Fundamentals, all from LinkedIn. Furthermore, in the same year, they also completed courses on Charlene Li on Digital Leadership, Digital Transformation, Leading with Innovation, RPA, AI, and Cognitive Tech for Leaders, and The Future of Performance Management, all through LinkedIn.

Additionally, in 2021, Moses completed certifications on Building Innovation Cultures and Leaders and Expert Insights on Driving Performance from Skillsoft, as well as Embracing the Digital Opportunity in 2021.
