Samir Waman

Samir Waman is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prominent companies. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Airtel Zambia PLC since December 2021, Waman was previously the Finance Director for Airtel Money Africa Operations at Airtel Africa from July 2018 to December 2021. Prior experience includes a tenure as Finance Controller at Pidilite Industries Limited, overseeing domestic subsidiaries with a turnover of over 650 Cr, and as Head of Finance for the Maharashtra & Goa Circle at Airtel. Waman began their career at Vodafone India as Head of Revenue Assurance and further honed skills as a Senior Consultant in Business Advisory Services at EY. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a CISA certification, and a BCOM from K J Somaiya College.
