Sam Allen has worked in the field of data and analytics since 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Consumer Insight Analyst at Canadean, where they were responsible for producing bespoke reports for clients, as well as PR pieces and articles to raise the profile of the business. Sam also co-managed a research team in Hyderabad, India and authored a monthly insight piece to distribute their findings on customer trends. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Data Scientist at Purple, and from 2018 to 2021, they were the Head of Data & Analytics at Airtime Rewards. At BookingGo, their responsibilities included using internal and market data to produce relevant and bespoke analysis for a variety of teams and stakeholders, while providing a more general snapshot of more high-level analysis for the business as a whole. Their main goals were to use data and insights to increase conversion, acquisition, prevent churn and to improve customer experience.

Sam Allen attended The University of Manchester from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology.
