Alex Hilton

Alex Hilton is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors. Currently serving as Engineering Director at Airwallex since September 2018, Alex has held various roles including Engineering Manager, Engineering Lead, and Senior Software Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes positions at ANZ as a Senior Developer in FX Sales Technology, and at Goldman Sachs as VP and Senior Developer in Finance Technology. Alex's tenure at Nomura included roles as VP and Senior Software Developer across multiple equity-related divisions. Earlier experience at Lehman Brothers included positions as Engineering Lead and Support Engineer in Equity Derivatives. Alex holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Bath, completed in 2005.
