Simon Martelli is an experienced air traffic controller currently employed at Airways New Zealand since November 2021, with previous roles as an air traffic control student in the Raglan Sector. Prior experience includes serving as an airborne sensor operator within the Government from June 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included sensor operation and training. Martelli contributed as a sensor specialist for the P-3 Replacement Project for the New Zealand Air Force from January 2002 to February 2018. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Information Science in Information Technology from Massey University, completed between 2008 and 2018, alongside specialized training at Airways International LTD from November 2021 to December 2022.
