Finance Executive

We are a dynamically growing company in the Air Chartering business with a diverse fleet operating worldwide. AirX is an international company offering exposure to various markets and jurisdictions from around the world.  Air X is looking for a Finance Executive to join the Finance team in Malta. 

Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Executive will assist in the day-to-day accounting function in the Finance Operations team. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Vetting expenses paid by company debit/credit cards and making sure they are in line with company policy.

• Vetting and timely posting of credit cards statements and suppliers’ invoices.

• Ensuring that all back up documentation has been uploaded by the relevant card holders in relation to card transactions.

• Liaising with other inhouse operational departments.

• Execute and monitor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Performing month end routines such as credit cards reconciliations and other ad-hoc tasks.

Experience and Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role within an operational

       environment.

• Applicants must have a minimum of an ‘A’ level standard of education, including a pass in accounts.

• Knowledge and experience of the aviation industry will be considered as an asset.

Personal Attributes:

• An effective team player who is flexible, works out of own initiative and has strong communication skills.

• Demonstrate a can-do attitude, is highly organised, meticulous and attentive to detail.

• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office applications, especially Excel.

• Be able to work under tight deadlines and pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics is considered an asset.
