Pascal Grégoire, PhD

Pascal Grégoire, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Pascal currently serves as the Chief Imaging Scientist at AIRY3D since May 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Imaging Scientist at the same company from December 2019 to May 2021, and as an Imaging Scientist from February 2018 to December 2019.

Prior to their time at AIRY3D, Pascal was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at TandemLaunch Inc., a Montreal-based incubator and venture capital firm specializing in multimedia technologies. Pascal held this role from September 2017 to January 2018.

Pascal also has experience as a Ph.D. student in Condensed Matter Physics at Université de Montréal. During this time (September 2012 to August 2017), they designed and developed techniques in nonlinear optics and femtosecond spectroscopy for the characterization of high-tech materials. Pascal also programmed methods for data analysis using Matlab and Python and created mathematical models to explain the data. Additionally, they delivered scientific/technical presentations in English and French.

In addition to their other roles, Pascal worked as an Optical Designer at Photon etc. on a part-time contract basis from March 2017 to May 2017. In this role, they developed a photoreflectance imagery system for material characterization, improving the optical design and conducting proof of concept while liaising with the client.

Pascal Grégoire, PhD, obtained their Baccalauréat in Physique from Université de Montréal, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Pascal then pursued further education at the same institution and earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from Université de Montréal between 2012 and 2017.
