Alex Salmu

Alex Salmu has extensive experience in intellectual property and data protection, serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at AISIN World Corp. of America from May 2021 to April 2025, and also holding the position of Intellectual Property Manager and Counsel at Aisin Technical Center of America, Inc. during the same period. Prior to these roles, Alex worked at Faurecia as a Senior Patent Engineer and Project Engineer specializing in intellectual property from August 2016 to May 2021. The career began at Landon IP - A CPA Global Company as a Patent Analyst focusing on mechanical engineering from May 2012 to August 2016. Academically, Alex holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Doctor of Law with a concentration in Business Transactions from Cooley Law School.
