Joshua Roames is a cybersecurity engineer with extensive experience in managing cybersecurity measures for the OneSAF Integrated Development Environment (IDE) across multiple organizations. Currently employed at Assured Information Technology (AIT) Engineering since June 2022, Joshua oversees the administration of HBSS/ESS, conducts system assessments in line with RMF requirements, and manages firewall rules. Prior to AIT, Joshua served as a cybersecurity engineer at Phoenix Defense, LLC., providing similar responsibilities, and gained valuable skills as both an Information Technology System Specialist and Information Assurance Specialist at Agile Defense, Inc. Additionally, Joshua has a background in IT customer support and served as a Health Care Administrator in the United States Air Force. Joshua holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of the Incarnate Word.
