Jari Romo

Jari Romo has been working in the technology industry for 25 years. In 2020, they joined Aito as a Project Manager, where they are delivering technology to customer product. Jari also joined ENG ||| Expert Network Group as an Expert and Studies and Life as a Spatical, Study and some consulting. In 2018, they joined Huawei Technologies as a Consultant and Display Expert by Enko Consulting Oy. Jari's roles included scouting technologies and materials to be used in imaging HW products, leading technology cooperation development projects, and innovating. In 2017, they joined Dovre Suomi as a Project Manager, leading a technology project at KONE Oyj. In 2016, they joined Studies and Life as a Sabatical & Studies. In 2014, they joined Microsoft Mobile Oy as a Senior Project Manager and a Member of Microsoft Patent Commitee. From 1994 to 2014, they worked at Nokia in various roles including Senior Project Manager NWP Engineering Display & Touch, Member of the Patent Board, Project Manager SD Display Solution, Technology Manager/Project Manager, Senior Research Manager, Head of Display Module Engineering, Head of Display Platform, Project Manager/Head of Display AD, and Senior Design Engineer.

Jari Romo received a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering specialized in Computer Engineering from Mikkeli Polytechnic between 1990 and 1994. Jari then obtained a degree as an Elektoroniikka-asentaja / Electronics serviceman from Pieksämäen ammattioppilaitos between 1987 and 1989. Prior to that, Jari Romo obtained an A-Level from Haukivuoren Lukio between 1983 and 1986. In 2016, they earned a Lean Change Agent degree from Aalto PRO - Aalto University Professional Development with a focus on Lean Methodology. In 2009, they earned an EMBA from Aalto University Executive Education Ltd. Jari Romo has also obtained several additional certifications, including Accelerando Heptathlon Training from Accelerando Oy in 2016, Six Sigma Yellow Belt from MoreSteam University in 2013, Lead Auditor from Bureau Veritas in 2005, In Search of Excellence in Project Management from International Institute for Learning in 2005, Project 98 UK from Intromit in 2000, EMC Solutions in Mobile Phones from Helsinki University of Technology Applied Electronics Laboratory in 1998, EMC Design from Hewlett-Packard Oy in 1995, and Jari'ssityöturvallisuus from SETI in 2018.
